Ted serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of HealthMedia, Inc. He has over 30 years of experience in executive-level management, including sales, marketing, and the Chief Executive Office, principally in the area of software applications and solutions. Prior to HealthMedia, Ted served as President and CEO at Centromine, an Internet-based behavioral health firm, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ted holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Waynesburg College in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and a Master's Degree in Mathematics from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Dr. Strecher is a renowned speaker, researcher, and author in the field of health behavior change. The founder of HealthMedia and its Chairman of the Board and Chief Science Officer, Dr. Strecher is a Professor of Health Behavior and Education at the University of Michigan School of Public Health where he founded the Center for Health Communications Research and directs the Health Media Research Lab. Since 1995, Dr. Strecher has also served as Associate Director at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Before coming to Michigan, Dr. Strecher served in a variety of positions at the University of North Carolina. He was Associate Professor in the Department of Health Education and Health Behavior from 1990 to 1995 and also the Director of the Health Communications Research Laboratory at the School of Public Health from 1992 to 1995. Dr. Strecher was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education from 1984 to 1990 and a Research Associate for the Health Services Research Center from 1985 to 1995. From 1983 to 1984, he was an Assistant Professor at Temple University's Department of Health Education. Dr. Strecher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Masters in Public Health and Ph.D. in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan.
John is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial management, planning, control, accounting, reporting and contract administration. Prior to joining HealthMedia in April 2004, John served as CFO for various technology companies and has a successful track record in managing startup companies to financial stability and profitability. He also spent 12 years in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Dave is responsible for HealthMedia product design and development, hosting services, data management and reporting, software engineering, quality assurance, information technology, consulting services, and project management. Dave has over 30 years of experience in financial management, investor relations, contracts administration, government contracting, business development, and operations management. Dave has been with HealthMedia since its inception and served as the company's Chief Financial Officer for the first six years. Dave has an MBA and MS (Water Resources Management) degree from the University of Michigan, and a BS from the University of Rochester.
John leads the team of Executives responsible for providing HealthMedia's specialty solutions to managed care firms, medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical organizations. John has over 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the area of software applications and solutions. Previously, John served as Vice President of North American Direct Sales for HealthMedia, Inc. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Spring Arbor College.
Kevin leads the team of executives responsible for providing HealthMedia's interventions to national heath care organizations and large scale employers. Kevin has over 30 successful years of management experience in sales, marketing, and product development. Prior to joining HealthMedia, Kevin was a founding executive at Miavita, responsible for sales, marketing, client management, and customer support.
Mary Jo is responsible Marketing, Alliance Management, Product Strategy, Pre-Sales Support, New Contract Business Analysis, Industry and Competitive Analysis, and Industry Consultants. She has 25 years experience in implementing and leading innovative teams in the development of computer-based and web-based applications and products for various industries including healthcare, education, design and engineering, and manufacturing. Mary Jo has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Dr. Bedrosian is a clinical psychologist with over 29 years of experience in treating depression, addictions, anxiety disorders, and the aftereffects of childhood trauma or abuse. Dr. Bedrosian was fortunate to have been personally trained and supervised by Dr. Aaron T. Beck, a world-renowned psychiatrist who is known as the “Father of Cognitive Therapy”. He is also the author of numerous books, chapters, and articles focused on depression, suicide, family dynamics and related problems, including the 1994 volume, “Treating Family of Origin Problems: A Cognitive Approach”. Until acquired by HealthMedia, Dr. Bedrosian was the founder and owner of MySelfHelp.com. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Brown University, his M.A. in Psychology from Assumption College, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Miami University.
As HealthMedia's Sr. Medical Consultant, Dr. Greenhut is responsible for the medical integrity of all HealthMedia's programs and conducts background searches on all medically-related topics. She is board-certified in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine and has been a fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine since 1987. From 1991 to 1999 Dr. Greenhut entered a private practice in preventive and behavioral medicine. She received an A.B. cum laude, from the University of Michigan and her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Greenhut also received a Master in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.
Dr. Schwartz leads internal and external research projects and studies, develops proposals, provides scientific guidance to program development staff, and sets the company's scientific and product development agenda. Most recently, he was the director of Research at the Oakwood Healthcare System and was an Adjunct Lecturer for the University of Michigan Dearborn Department of Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Schwartz received his Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology from Wayne State University, an MA in Experimental Psychology from the College of William and Mary, and a Ph.D. in Clinical/Health Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Wildenhaus is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in health behavior change and practical, effective health intervention programs. At HealthMedia he leads the Behavioral Science and Consulting Group and is the Principal Investigator on a Robert Wood Johnson grant looking at internet based self-management interventions for weight control, goal setting and nutrition. He has given hundreds of lectures, presentations and workshops on health-related topics. He completed his doctorate from Wayne State University, with a major in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Industrial & Organizational Psychology. In addition, Dr. Wildenhaus also serves as the Team Psychologist for the 2006 Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers
Steve is responsible for expanding market acceptance and penetration of HealthMedia’s behavior change interventions, including identifying new market opportunities and expanding existing markets with new product launches for healthcare plans, employers, behavioral health organizations, and pharmaceutical firms He has over 15 years of experience as a health management professional across for health plans, universities, hospitals and corporate fitness centers. Most recently Steve worked as a health promotion and wellness consultant at BlueCross and BlueShield of Vermont where he built a series of new health management tools and services and served as a health management consultant for employer groups of all sizes in Vermont. Steve has a BA in economics and business administration and obtained a MS in health promotion management from The American University in Washington D.C.
Ed directs the product launch and support activities for HealthMedia's online web interventions. Ed has more than 20 years experience in software development, with experience in consulting, marketing, international business development and product development. Prior to joining HealthMedia he was the CTO of Vale Solutions and VP Development for The Echo Group, formerly Centromine, Inc., Ed holds Science and Business Administration degrees from the University of Alberta and a Certified Management Accounting designation.
Sean leads the HealthMedia team of project managers. He has 17 years of diverse IT experiences, including leading project management, operations, software quality assurance and consulting teams for various-sized organizations. Prior to joining HealthMedia, Sean served as the Director of Solution Center Implementations for an application service provider start-up in San Francisco, Director of Consulting for PeopleSoft, and as Senior Project Manager for a fortune 100 company. Sean earned a BS in Management from Purdue University and MBA from University of Dayton.
Kevin focuses on optimizing the tools and resources directed towards implementation, operations, and maintenance of HealthMedia programs. He has 24 years experience as a leader of large-scale project management and information technology organizations. Kevin's experience includes leading systems development and operations organizations for Fortune 100 organizations in several industries, including health care, manufacturing, information technology and publishing. He also co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for a web portal and content management software company from 1999 through 2002. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science with high distinction in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Tom leads a team of software development professionals in implementing and testing all HealthMedia products. His 27 years of experience in developing software includes numerous new product launches as well as many new releases of mature products. Prior to joining HealthMedia, Tom served as Vice President of North America Software Development for Open Text, Inc. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Rex focuses on the overall architecture and direction of HealthMedia's technical services, including both software development and network operations. He has over 15 years of engineering experience in a range of fields. Prior to HealthMedia, he served as an engineering lead for MediaStation, a computer gaming and entertainment company. He has also worked in the areas of medical imaging, touch-screen user interfaces, and general business applications. Rex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University and previously served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
Steven manages the development and ongoing servicing of distributor partnership relationships, after previously serving as a HealthMedia Business Development Manager for 4 years. With over 20 years experience in sales and account management, Steven has held lead sales management positions at top companies such Sprint and Cisco Systems, where he sold web hosting, messaging, e-commerce, B2B, ERP, CRM and portal application solutions as well as continually exceeding sales and client services objectives. Steven has extensive experience managing and dealing with large population accounts and is continually recognized for his excellent commitment to customer satisfaction.
